Individual & Group Leadership

Learners, as Global Citizens, select one of the UN SDGS 17 goals for Sustainable Development to study in either an individual or group-based project. These Learners coordinate with Educators and Mentors to develop individual project plans, deliverables, and methodologies in achieving their selected goal. They develop a unique project plans that they create to achieve their goal. Each project plan includes the methodologies and elements necessary to achieve their objectives as defined in their own perspective. The Individual Learners, or the Group of Learners will deliver and present their plans, ideas, creations, and implementation methodologies in their deliverables to their respective Educator as outlined in their specific scope of work.

Educators, through oversight and leadership, guide Learners along their paths to develop project plans, methodologies, elements, their 'thesis' and deliverables that they will present to achieve their selected goal in both an individual and/or a group setting. With regional support and access to the Mentor Message Board, partnerships and resources are leveraged along their journey. Each Educator sets deliverables and guidelines specific to the individual or group-based project including the presentations and table of elements. Each presentation and deliverable will be reviewed and forwarded to Regional Mentors for evaluation and possible selection for a Global Challenge or Forum of participating Districts and Regions where Global Mentors serve to guide actual implementation or further development of these amazing creations.

Our Global Mentors and Partners assist Educators as well as Individual Participants throughout their journey in developing their project plans, elements, methodologies, and objectives. We serve those just as we were once served by our own amazing Mentors & Partners. Now it is our turn to pass the eternal torch of experience and share the journey we have lived with those growing into their future. Global Mentors & Partners serve in a shared capacity through our Mentor Message Board wherein many advise individually and in groups when reviewing and assisting participants. The Global Mentors and Partners jointly participate in the global review of potential leadership, growth, development, and continued research into the implementation of presented solutions and methodologies created by participants.
