Design

Our program brings together Learners, Educators, and Mentors each as individuals working collectively as Global Citizens. Individual participants elect to study one of the 17 goals for sustainable development. This can be accomplished in group settings and/or as an independent study initiative. Each participant will research, develop, and present their ideas and creations to implement solutions to achieve their specific goals of their study. During their research, they develop and create their own unique Project Plans which include specific metrics and requisites necessary to achieve their goals. During their study, they will collaborate on their elements and variables by showcasing their creations, outlining their strategies and ideas, presenting their findings, and developing proposals for achieving their goals. Their resulting creations will be presented, submitted, and shared regionally and globally.

Shared Process

Educators and Mentors share in the process. Individual and group participants develop their own phases of implementation and gain access to and guidance from both Educators and Mentors alike. Our Mentor Message Board serves as a vehicle for cooperation where ideas, creations, proposals, and challenges are shared on a common platform for all Participants to gain experience, share knowledge, and incorporate ideas into their own efforts.

Global Participation

We seek to develop global participation through regional efforts and a goal based collaborative model. Those sharing participation in studying the same goal for sustainable development can become linked and share resources, ideas, and grow their global reach by synchronizing their efforts with others studying the same goal across the globe. When sharing uniquely created elements, metrics, and requisites, participants link to further research and development of other projects, discuss implementation, possible budgeting, and proposals that will hopefully lead to internships and externships, and business plan development.

Launch Ideas

We want to provide opportunities for Learners, Educators, and Mentors grow together, further develop strategies, and open resources to continue those actions set in motion by the individual and group participants. When learning from those that will inevitably inherit the realities of their creations, witnessing the development and implementation of their ideas, we hope to see Participants launch themselves as global citizens and entrepreneurs. We look to develop these collaborations specifically through focusing on the 17 goals for sustainable development and reach cross borders to implement their ideas and creations.
